Our name means “Opportunity” in Kiswahili, and our mission is to help shift the paradigm in children’s mental health services research by 1. centering racial and social justice, 2. making science accessible, digestible, and actionable, and 3. supporting mental health promotion in the physical and social spaces where kids live, learn, and play. To the left, check out Dr. Stacy Frazier speaking at the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT) 2020 54th Annual Convention! This was an address to the Dissemination and Implementation Science Special Interest Group (DIS SIG).
Dr. Frazier is recruiting students for the new PhD program in Applied Social and Cultural Psychology. She is especially committed to mentoring students who identify with groups underrepresented in science, psychology and academia toward improving public health science and care. Please note, Dr. Frazier is no longer recruiting students for the clinical science program.
